Hello! I'm Kenyah Hill, and I’m excited to join the Eagle family at Perry Middle School as your new Assistant Principal.
I’ve had the privilege of serving in CFBISD for the past six years as a Middle School Counselor at Polk Middle School. Throughout my time there, I’ve built strong, meaningful relationships with students, families, staff, and community partners. My focus has always been on supporting the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally—and I take pride in being a trusted advocate for students and a resource for families.
For the past three years, I’ve also worked with the CFBISD Counseling Connection Center, where I provided direct counseling services and connected families with the resources they needed to thrive.
As I transition into the role of Assistant Principal, I bring with me a deep understanding of student needs and the ability to connect, listen, and lead with empathy. My background in counseling allows me to approach discipline, academic planning, and student support with a restorative and solutions-focused mindset. I believe that when students feel safe, seen, and supported, they are more equipped to succeed—and I’m committed to helping create that environment here at Perry.
I earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Northeastern State University, a Master’s in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma, and hold a Principal Certification from Lamar University.
I’m truly honored to be part of this amazing school community and look forward to partnering with all of you to support the success of every student.

Hello Eagle Families,
I am honored and excited to join the Perry Middle School family as one of your Assistant Principals. I look forward to partnering with our students, staff, families and community to build meaningful relationships and create a positive school culture where every student feels valued, supported and empowered to succeed.
I began my career in education as a Spanish teacher, where I discovered my passion for building strong connections with students while creating engaging learning experiences that challenged and inspired them. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to serve as a Department Manager, leading collaborative teams, supporting teachers through instructional coaching, and working alongside colleagues to improve student achievement. These experiences strengthened my belief that when educators work together with a shared purpose, students thrive.
In addition to my instructional leadership experience, I have had the privilege of serving as a head cheer coach, where I developed student leaders, fostered teamwork, and helped build a positive athletic culture. Athletics provide students with opportunities to develop character, resilience, and school pride, and I am excited to continue supporting Perry's outstanding athletic and extracurricular programs.
I earned both my Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Latin American Studies and my Master of Education in K–12 Education from the University of Arkansas, and later completed my Educational Specialist degree in Principalship from Arkansas State University. These experiences helped shape my passion for instructional leadership and lifelong learning.
I believe that strong relationships are the foundation of a successful school. By intentionally building a positive culture rooted in trust, respect, and collaboration, we create an environment where students are willing to take risks, grow, and reach their full potential. I am eager to get to know each of our students, families, staff members, and the Perry community while working together to continue making this an exceptional place for learning.
I am truly grateful for the opportunity to serve the Perry community and cannot wait to begin this new journey as an Eagle. I look forward to meeting each of you and making this a fantastic year together!
