Meet the Principal
Vicky Cisneros
Welcome to DeWitt Perry Middle School—Home of the Mighty Eagles!
I am Vicky Cisneros, the proud principal of this amazing campus and I am beyond excited to extend a warm welcome as we embark on a new school year.
I began my career in 2006 as a bilingual teacher where I discovered my passion for empowering young minds and creating an inclusive school community. Over the years I’ve held various roles, including high school counselor, high school assistant and associate principal, and elementary principal—all of which have equipped me with a diverse skill set to lead our school effectively.
Our mission at Perry is to foster a community where high standards and expectations are achieved through the intentional support of ALL students. We are relentlessly committed to the holistic development of our students. Our dedicated staff is focused on providing high-quality education, promoting social and emotional growth, and encouraging active participation in extracurricular activities. We strive to create a safe and supportive atmosphere where students feel seen, valued, and inspired to achieve their full potential.
I am a first-generation college graduate and hold a Bachelor’s Degree from Southern Methodist University and a Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Amberton University. Additionally, I completed Educational Leadership coursework from the University of North Texas. My educational philosophy centers around collaboration and continuous improvement. I am committed to working closely with teachers, parents, and the community to ensure our students receive the best education possible and are given all the opportunities they deserve.
Outside of school, I am married to a dedicated Dallas police officer, whose commitment to serving our community inspires me daily. We are the proud parents of three wonderful children whose activities keep us busy and joyful. In my personal time, I love to immerse myself in reading, which helps me relax and stay inspired!
I am excited about the future of Perry Middle School and look forward to partnering with you to make our school a place where every student can and will succeed.
Let's make this school year the best one yet!
Warm Regards,
Vicky Cisneros
