Choir

Bella Voce is our 7th/8th Grade Advanced Select Women's Choir. Members of Bella Voce typically have at least one year of choral experience. Students in this ensemble are highly encouraged to audition for All-Region and participate in the Solo & Ensemble Contest.  This group performs in 4 concerts per year, participates in the UIL Concert and Sight Reading Evaluation, and at area festivals each spring.  

 

Men's Chorale is our 7th/8th Grade Advanced Select Men's Choir. Chorale members typically have at least one year of choral experience.  Students in this ensemble are highly encouraged to audition for All-Region and Solo & Ensemble Contests. This group performs in 4 concerts per year, participates in the UIL Concert and Sight Reading Evaluation, and at area festivals each spring. 

 

Bel Canto is our 7th/8th Grade Advanced Women's Choir. Students in this choir work to develop their skills in singing and sight reading.  This group performs in 4 concerts per year, participates in the UIL Concert and Sight Reading Evaluation and at area festivals each spring. Students in this choir are welcome to participate in our All Region and Solo & Ensemble Contests.  

Concert Men's Choir is our 7th/8th Grade Intermediate Men's Choir.  This group performs in 4 concerts per year. Concert Men's Choir often combines with Men's Chorale for performances throughout the school year.  Concert Men performs at one local festival each spring semester. 

 

All 6th Grade students are placed in our Beginner Choirs.  The Beginner Boys and Girls Choirs often combine to perform as the Beginner Mixed Choir. The Beginner Choirs perform at 3 concerts each year and compete in the CFB Beginner Choir Festival during the spring semester. Beginner choir students are encouraged to participate in the CFB Solo & Ensemble Contest. During 6th Grade year, our focus is on building fundamental choral skills.
