Introduction to Theatre (6th Grade: One Semester)
Designed to provide students an opportunity to participate in a wide variety of activities related to the field of theatre arts.
Theatre 1 (7th & 8th Grade)
Designed to provide students an opportunity to participate in a wide variety of activities related to the field of theatre arts.
Theatre Arts 2 (8th Grade; completed Theatre 1)
Designed to help students develop skills through participation in the performing and technical aspects of theatre. Included are activities such as pantomine, group improvisation, storytelling, dramatic interpretation, and the study of theatre history, stage lighting, make-up, costume and set design.
Theatre Production (7th & 8th Grade; placement through audition)
Designed for students who want to participate in full-length play production. Every effort will be made to ensure that each student will have a vital role in the production. Students will be required to attend after school rehearsals for several consecutive weeks, participate in UIL One-Act Play Contest, and participate in both in-class and public productions.
