DeWitt Perry is a family oriented, comprehensive middle school with a diverse student population. We maintain high expectations for student work and rigor while prioritizing real life experience and learning.
Our campus received a TEA rating of an 89 last year including significant gains in student performance, student growth, and closing achievement gaps. Our Fine Arts and Athletic programs are extremely successful and bring in numerous awards, trophies, sweepstakes, and celebrations each year. The principal, assistant principals, and staff members are excited to meet you!
All of our teachers in CFBISD are certified in the core subject areas. Teachers also receive specialized training in curriculum, reading strategies, differentiation, socio-emotional learning and much more.
If you are a new student and live in the attendance zone, you can move forward by completing online registration and follow the steps for online enrollment.
Students may enroll for the current school year or can begin online registration for the new school year on April 1.
The DeWitt Perry PTA is a community of educators and families who work together to support the school, and further its mission to create an enriching learning environment for all students. Our PTA works in accordance with the Texas PTA and the National PTA - the largest volunteer child advocacy association in the United States. PTA is a proven champion for families!
Because of my background, I am able to relate to many of my students and I am able to provide the support, both academically and personally, that I know they want and need. -Ms. Saldivar, Perry Staff Member
My son, who is now a college student, and youngest daughter, currently in 6th grade, attend(ed) Perry Middle School and all I can say is that I am so appreciative of the continuous support and encouragement that teachers and administrators provide every day. It truly has made a difference in their education. -Eluvia, Perry Parent
